About The Founders

Prior to the inception of 3D Magic Factory,
Co-Founders Kerry Johnson (Miller) & Pauline Saab contributed their talents as production artist’s throughout the country. They earned highly competitive production positions at leading entertainment companies such as PDI / DreamWorks, ILM (also known as Industrial Light & Magic), Digital Anvil, Electronic Arts just to name a few. Their combined production history earned them credits in academy award winning films such as “Shrek”, “Star Wars: Episode 1”, “Wing Commander” and multi award winning games such as “Wing Commander”, “Conquest ”, and “Freelancer”. They have worn many creative hats with leading production roles as Art Directors, Technical Directors, Lead Artists, Animators, Surface Painters, Compositors, Modelers and others.

With twenty-five years plus of professional experience, Kerry Johnson & Pauline Saab earned the knowledge and insight necessary to run a successful animation firm capable of creating just about anything imaginable. It was inevitable they would launch their own successful animation studio they now call “3D Magic Factory”. Every project they create is infused with a lifetime devotion to learning their craft supported by many years of high-end professional experience. Simply Put: All thier hard earned Hollywood experience is put to good use with every project that comes through their doors.

Saab and Miller Productions
Have you heard of Saab & Miller Productions? Well, the founders of 3D Magic Factory operated under a different name known as Saab & Miller Productions, which launched in 2001. Saab & Miler Productions was one of the first cinematic animation studios to form in Austin, TX. They built the studio from the ground up and were fortunate to experience immediate success. A few years later, it became clear the company name they chose needed to be changed for many reasons. So they took a step back and re-invented the studio, and from that experience 3D Magic Factory was born.
