Project Name: Cat Nip Fever

Production Type: Internal Animation Test for an “Animated Short” we hope to complete one of these days. When completed we plan to enter this comedic animated short into Animation Festivals. It’s always fun to show work in progress and share some of our own ideas.

What We Have Done: 3D Animation, Modeling, Texturing, Rendering, Rigging, Compositing, Visual FX, Preliminary Conceptual Development. These are ideas for our main characters; however they are not final or fully developed to date.

Storyline: “Kitty” loves disco dancing, but she can’t seem to find a man who will bust a move with her. Her favorite movie is Saturday Night Fever, and she idolizes John Travolta. She loves faux fur, and can’t get enough of bling bling. One night while Kitty tears it up on the dance floor, a walrus named “Sexy” catches her eye...or maybe it’s his hard to miss blinking belt buckle. Their eyes meet, and they collide into disco dancing heaven. What about the rest? To be continued….
